Pause Group on Facebook
Pausing a group on Facebook is the best and most reliable solution if you are not willing to delete Facebook group permanently. Before this option was to archive it but, now it is come to known as pausing the group and both of them serve the same function. To pause a Facebook group, follow the given steps:
1. Open the Facebook group you wish to pause and click on the ‘Shield’ icon.
2. Scroll to the bottom and click on ‘Pause Group’.
3. Select the reason you wish to pause the group and click on ‘Continue‘.
4. Add an announcement to the members that the group is paused. You can also set the date and time for the group to be active again.
5. Once done, click on ‘Pause group’.
The group gets paused. Now, no members will be able to upload new posts and activities in the group till it gets un-paused. They however will be able to check the old posts.
